About TTS Inc.
Leaders in Sustainable Bio-Materials & Hemp Fibre Technology
Our work bridges the gap between research and commercial application, organizing stakeholders from investors and entrepreneurs to government agencies and manufacturers to create viable, sustainable manufacturing models.
Pioneering Sustainable Building Solutions
Since 1998, TTS has been at the forefront of developing and commercializing high-performance bio-material products: transforming agricultural and forestry byproducts into certified, market-ready materials that are revolutionizing sustainable construction and manufacturing.
Founded as Tekle Technical Services Inc., TTS quickly established itself as a leader in forest products development and testing. By 2000, we expanded our focus to include agricultural fibres, particularly hemp and flax, developing innovative biocomposite solutions for construction and manufacturing.
Selected Clients
Our technical excellence and innovative solutions have earned the trust of industry leaders worldwide.
Industry Experience
TTS contributes to Alberta's growing bio-industrial sector through our technical services, research facilities, and product development expertise. We provide comprehensive solutions across bio-composite development, hemp fiber processing, material testing, sustainable manufacturing, and product commercialization.
Our experience in both forestry and agricultural fibers positions us to support innovation in sustainable materials.
Sustainable Innovation
Our approach combines environmental responsibility with technical excellence by transforming waste streams into valuable resources. We utilize agricultural residuals (hemp hurds, flax shives, cereal straws), forestry processing residuals (bark, harvesting slash, sawdust), and municipal construction fiber waste in our manufacturing processes.
Our facilities meet the EU's stringent emissions standards while implementing zero-waste manufacturing processes. By prioritizing small-scale, rural-based production facilities, we minimize transportation impacts and maximize community benefits.
